Masukkan tepung terigu dan baking powder, aduk rata tambahkan margarine yang telah dilelehkan dan vanilli, aduk rata tuangkan ke dalam loyang. 3. Panggang selama 30 menit hingga berwarna cokelat keemasan dan matang, angkat, dinginkan. 4. Siapkan loyang bongkar pasang ukuran 22 cm, taruh kue didalamnya, sisihkan. 5. Aduk rata kuning telur dan gula pasir, masukkan minyak selada, santan dan tepung terigu, baking powder dan soda kue, aduk hingga menjadi adonan yang kental. Tambahkan pasta pandan aduk rata. 3. Kocok putih telur bersama cream of tartar masukkan gula pasir sedikit-sedikit sambil terus dikocok hingga mengembang dan kaku. 4. Campurkan putih telur kedalam adonan telur, aduk rata, tuangkan kedalam loyang dan panggang selama 45 menit hingga matang. 5. Setelah matang, angkat, balik loyang atau gantungkan terbalik pada botol, setelah uap panasnya hilang kue akan terlepas. Banyak variasi resep pempek yang ada. Yang patut diingat, semakin banyak cairan (air), makin banyak kanji yang harus ditambahkan. Biasanya, hasilnya jadi makin kenyal. 3. Bila Anda kesulitan membentuk pempek, lumuri tangan Anda dengan tepung kanji. 4. Menggoreng pempek selalu di dalam minyak panas agar pempek tidak merekat di dasar wajan.
